Ms. Schäfer studied at the Faculty of Law at the University of Augsburg with a focus on economic criminal law as well as international criminal and criminal procedural law.

She completed her legal clerkship, also with a focus on criminal law, with stations at the District Court of Ulm, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ulm and the City of Neu-Ulm.
